Music Playlist

 Global Music Playlist Music is so powerful ways and it has the ability to connect different cultures around the world. It can tell stories, celebrate traditions, and even give us a glimpse into the daily lives of people we've never met. For this playlist, I chose four different songs from four unique cultures across two continents (plus Australia!). Some are rooted in ancient traditions, while others are modern takes that blend old sounds with new styles. I wanted a mix that shows just how wide and creative the world of music really is. Honestly, these tracks are just really cool to listen to.   Music & Family: An Interview with my Dad       I interviewed my dad, Nick, over a facetime call and he had a great time reminiscing on his history with music. I call my dad everyday so this was a fairly easy and quick convo.       We started with general questions so I could get a sense of what his earliest memories with music are and what he likes now. I first asked, "what are some of your earliest memories of music?"
